“I could only see it in chapters. So I started writing the next one.”
About
new chapter.

EXISTS BECAUSE TRANSITION DESERVES MORE THAN A FRAMEWORK.

our
thinking.
We work with people and organisations at the moments that matter most. The crossings. The thresholds. The shifts that change who you are, how you lead, and what becomes possible next.
Our belief is simple. The quality of attention available during a transition changes everything about who comes through it, and how. Most change processes attend to the outer. The structure, the plan, the milestones. We attend to the inner. The human experience running underneath. The part that determines whether change actually lands.
We call that work the crossing. And we’ve built everything here around it.

the
crossing.
Every significant change has an inner transition journey running alongside the outer one. A moment where the old shore is behind you and the new one isn’t yet visible. Where something has to shift inside before the outside can settle.
That in-between space is where we work. Not managing it from a distance. Sitting in it with you. In the messy middle. Until the way forward becomes clear.
It is not always your whole life that is crossing. Sometimes it is one role, one relationship, one belief about yourself. But whatever is crossing, it deserves proper attention.
This is where it gets that.

meet
Olayinka.
I’m Olayinka (Ola), founder of New Chapter.
I’ve spent over two decades working with people and organisations at the moments that matter most. Across sectors and continents. In boardrooms and community spaces. In crisis and in growth. And more than once, mid-crossing myself.
That last part matters.
I know what it feels like to be navigating your own transition while still showing up for everyone else. To be the one holding the room while quietly wondering who is holding you. To need a thinking partner and not quite know where to find one. To be expected to lead change outwardly while something inwardly is still finding its footing.
New Chapter grew from that knowing.
And from something else. A growing fascination with what actually happens inside significant change. Not just the strategy, not just the structure …but the internal experience of being in it. What it takes to inhabit a transition rather than fight your way around it. I have been unpicking that question for two decades. I am still in it. Still inquiring. Still crossing. That is what keeps this work alive.
My work lives at the intersection of presence and the human side of change. A background across the sciences taught me to look for the pattern underneath the surface. That instinct never left. It just found a different kind of laboratory.
My practice draws from Gestalt, organisational development, systems thinking, and years of work across leadership transitions, culture change, and equity.
I work as a consultant, facilitator, speaker, and thought partner. And I am writing the frameworks down.
I bring all of it. And I bring something harder to credential.
I will be in it with you. Space to think. Space to see. Challenge when you need it. Witness when that’s what matters. And the kind of presence that on a good day helps you return to your own.

the
faculty.
New Chapter is not just Ola.
Depending on the work, the context, and what’s needed, Ola brings together a carefully chosen group of thinkers, practitioners, and facilitators who share the same beliefs and bring different strengths. People who have been tried, trusted, and chosen for their thinking.
This is the New Chapter Faculty. Whatever the scale of the work, whatever the context demands, there is the right voice, the right presence, the right expertise in the room.

What we
believe.

Presence
We show up fully. And we help others do the same.
UBUNTU
I am because we are. The self is formed in relationship. You do not have to choose between taking care of yourself and showing up for others. That is what we learn to do here.
RECOGNITION
We see the person before we see the problem. We work with what is actually there, not what we think should be.
COURAGE
We go into the difficult thing, not around it. That is not about being fearless. It is about being willing. And it is what we ask of ourselves before we ever ask it of anyone else.

What we are
building.
This work is about building inner capability. Resourcing people from the inside out, so they can meet their outer world with more steadiness, more clarity, and more of themselves.
That means New Chapter is bigger than any single conversation. The faculty, the products, the resources, they exist so that support is available in whatever form is needed, whenever it is needed. Sometimes that is Ola. Sometimes it is a member of the faculty. Sometimes it is a tool you carry in your pocket or return to on a quiet morning.
The goal is always the same. That you come through your crossing more yourself, not less. And that the next one finds you better resourced than the last.

Olayinka is also the founder of Everyday Warriorship, a space dedicated to calling people home to themselves.
